ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Collaborates with business stakeholders to translate business needs and functional value packages into implementation specifics and solution options.
  2. Provides rough estimates of work-effort needed to stakeholders and planning teams.
  3. Collaborates within the development team to assess the capacity for work, form sprint and release duration-based work commitments, and divide work responsibilities between team members.
  4. Provides daily status to the team, tracking progress on a shared project timeline.
  5. Analyzes individual and team based work performance and provides articulate feedback and problem solving via regular retrospectives.
  6. Produces whiteboard designs, wireframe mockups, and functionality prototypes ensuring that solution options comply with architectural direction and the client’s needs.
  7. Produces clean, efficient, reliable, and maintainable code.
  8. Looks for and makes recommendations for ways to improve the quality of the code-base.
  9. Performs unit testing on produced code.
  10. Collaborates with analyst team to plan testing activities and helps regression test the systems
  11. Participates in the change management process, produces documentation and helps planning deployment activities.
  12. Promotes tested and approved code through the environments.
  13. Collaborates with the infrastructure team on implementation needs, capacity needs, issue resolution, and performance tuning.
  14. Collaborates with the tier 1 support team on product and platform based issue triage and resolution.
  15. Provides emergency / off-hours outage and disaster recovery triage and support.
  16. Monitors the maintenance and minor enhancement backlog queues and works to continually improve the software products.
  17. Supports client and vendor integrations, acting as a technical liaison through the user acceptance phase.

 REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND CHARACTERISTICS:

  1. BA or BS preferred.
  2. Minimum of five years of related software development experience.
  3. Ability to work well in both a team environment and independently without close supervision.
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication.
  5. Excellent computer skills.
  6. Demonstrated aptitude and desire to quickly learn new software and technologies.
  7. High attention to detail.
  8. Self-starter with ability to multi-task.
  9. Required development experience with the C# .NET language, ASP.NET framework, and Microsoft SQL Server.
  10. Required experience working with source control systems and working with testing tools (unit testing, regression testing, load testing.)
  11. Preferred experience includes working with JQuery to deliver simple and clean web-based user interface.

Project Manager

About the Job

We’re looking to hire a Project Manager in the Chicago area.   Are you the one?

The Project Manager is responsible for client set-up and ongoing maintenance for data collection, data reporting, CRM and on-line services.  With the possibility to work from your home, the Project  Manager will ensure that the client’s account is setup and maintained according to the plan and that necessary information is communicated to the Client Manager to allow them to build, change and maintain the account plan.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Set up new services and facilitate ongoing updates (survey and cover letter customization, unit/specialty/provider tables, peer groups, demographic profile, report customization requests).
  2. Use analytical skills to deduce sampling strategy.
  3. Track response rates, minimum, and sampling to maximize data collection and achieve client’s goals with respect to use of data.
  4. Solve problems related to errors in data collection and reporting.
  5. Setup, maintain and verify account information (CRM –report cycles, delivery addresses, logging calls, client contact information, online administrative functions, verification of any lists distributed, perform audits).
    Provide support for service failures/recovery.
  6. Act as an effective member of a team and cross-team product group.
  7. Advise client on report interpretation (statistics, calculations, etc.).
  8. Build and maintain relationship with the primary client contact and facilitate a collaborative team environment to break down barriers for our clients.
  9. Collaborate with Relationship Executive and Client Improvement Manager to establish appropriate distribution methods, sampling, and reporting requirements.

 REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND CHARACTERISTICS:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
  2. Minimum of 5 years, quality improvement or IT project management experience.
  3. Proven excellence in the support and service to complex and demanding customers is preferred.
  4. Use of demonstrated analytical skills to identify, research, and solve complex problems with a sense of urgency.
  5. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) with demonstrated higher level Excel skills preferred.
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  7. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  8. Ability to question, probe, and/or challenge clients in order to ensure the client’s ultimate needs are met.

  3. Test and monitor the solution platform, including coordinating the deployment of new releases as output to the software development process.
  4. Collaborate with sales team to probe, listen to and understand client needs where the solution platform is critical to achieving client satisfaction.
  5. Confer with clients to explain the standard approaches taken by our platform to fulfill their specific needs.
  6. Develop, document and revise system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards to govern the software development process.
  7. Consult with management to ensure agreement on solution principles and evolution towards achieving overall business goals.
  8. Manage metrics to track how new features and/or products are impacting client retention and acquisition goals.
  9. Read manuals, periodicals, and technical reports to continuously learn how to better deliver excellent solutions to the company’s client eco-system.
  10. Research and propose third party computer software or hardware bringing high value, quick implementation solutions to our client eco-system.
  11. Help exceed the Information Technology department objectives.
